Explore central Annapolis by Segway, a great way to cover more ground than a walking tour but still enjoy being outside in the fresh air. With a knowledgeable guide, zoom easily around downtown Annapolis and the waterfront area, passing by historical attractions from the 1700s, including the William Paca House, Maryland State House and St John’s College. This Segway tour is limited to just six people per guide, ensuring you enjoy a small-group experience. When booking, choose from various departure times to suit your schedule. Your Segway tour starts in central Annapolis, where you’ll meet your experienced guide and take a practice run on your two-wheeled, self-balancing, electric Segway during an indoor training session. Then take a couple of more turns at a secluded outdoor location before setting off around downtown Annapolis.

Follow your guide past historical sites like the William Paca House, an 18th-century Georgian mansion named after William Paca, a governor of Maryland and one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Cruise past the Maryland State House, which dates back to 1772, is the country’s oldest state house still in continuous use and is the only state house that was also once the US capitol, and then head over to St John’s College, established in 1784. Throughout the tour, your guide will explain the history and significance of what you see and point out places you may want to check out on your own later.

Continue past the Banneker Douglas Museum, the court house and city hall, and St Mary’s Church, founded in 1853. Finally, end your Segway tour with a ride around the Annapolis City Dock and the popular Market House. Enjoy a photo op of Annapolis Harbor, and then head back to your starting point to turn in your Segway and say goodbye to your guide.
