If you like Portuguese wine, this tour is for you! This is an exciting opportunity to get to know the cellar’s history and production techniques, whilst enjoying some unique new flavors. Our morning starts with an impressive view over the Tagus River as we cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the longest bridge in Europe at 10.5-miles (17km). Our first stop is an amazing Cellar, founded by a simple family, currently produces 250 thousand bottles a year. Before moving onto our second round of wine tasting, it’s time for a lunchtime stop at beautiful Sesimbra, a small fishing village set in the heart of the Arrabida Natural Park. The José Maria da Fonseca Cellar, founded in 1834, has won countless gold medals during the course of the last century. The cellar also exports to numerous countries, boasting an internationally famous collection of wines. On the way back to Lisbon, there is just enough time for a stop at the Christ Statue where one can admire the beautiful view over the city of Lisbon.
