Enjoy a full day Aswan sightseeing tour from Luxor by road accompanied by an expert local tour guide. Drive for about 4 hours along the Nile valley from Luxor to Aswan and discover some Egyptian villages and cities along the way. Visit the unfinished obelisk, Aswan high dam and Philae temple of the Goddess Isis, walk along the souk of Aswan and then transfer back to Luxor. At 06:00am, your expert guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Luxor and accompany you in a journey along the Nile River which studded with stunning architecture and varied scenes of great natural beauty. The Nile is squeezed between the rocks and a series of Islands at Aswan which it makes it particularly picturesque, especially when the desert crowding in on both sides of the Nile River.

Arrive at Aswan to visit the unfinished obelisk in Aswan northern granite quarry. The obelisk still attached to the rock on the bottom side, the project was abandoned because of the crack appeared in the granite single block. If finished, it would have measured around 42m (approximately 137 feet) and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons. Proceed to visit Aswan high dam, an embankment dam built across the Nile at Aswan, between 1960 and 1970 with the aim to regulate river flooding, provide a store of water for agriculture and obviously to generate power. Enjoy a short motor boat ride to Philae Temple Island, the most ancient structure was the temple of Isis, built in the reign of Nectanebo I during 380-362 BC, which was approached from the river through a double colonnade. After lunch, it is time to walk along Aswan market (Souq), one of the essential and best attractions to visit in Aswan. There are loads of lovely stalls selling beautiful souvenirs from herbs, spices, clothes, bags (hand and travel), sand-in-glass art, and writing the name of your beloved ones on multiple shapes either in Pharaonic symbols or in Latin.

After finishing, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
