If you decide to include transport, leave your Madrid hotel by vehicles and travel to the launch pad in style. Alternatively, make your own way to the Segovia Balloon launch site, very close to the center of town.
On arrival, meet all the team and enjoy the preparations to inflate the balloon. After listening to a safety briefing, step inside your balloon’s basket and take to the skies with your pilot. Each basket holds a maximum of 8 people and there’s plenty of room for you to sightsee comfortably as you soar up and away.
Have your camera ready to capture bird’s-eye views of the Cathedral built at Segovia’s highest point, the breathtaking medieval Castle called The Alcázar, a 12th century fortification built on a rocky outcrop, the old city and the amazing Aqueduct. Listen to your pilot talking about the buildings and check out for yourself why Segovia was designated World Heritage City for its unique beauty.
After floating through the air, return to ground level, and follow your pilot’s instructions for a smooth landing. Once back on the ground, it is time to celebrate your flight with a glass of Champagne and a taste of Spanish breakfast with amazing plates like jamon, Serrano, chorizo and manchego cheese. After breakfast you will receive your flight certificate signed by your pilot.
Once you have finished your drink, bid farewell to your pilot and group. Your experience either finishes at the launch site in Segovia or back at your Madrid hotel (depending on the option selected).
