Your certified local guide will take you on a short walk in the hamlet of Serralunga d'Alba admiring the medieval fortress and amazing views over the UNESCO World Heritage hills. You will visit a Barolo family-run winery and enjoy a tasting of at least three wines. Learn about the unique soil composition, the geographical position and other interesting facts as the guide will show you the hill conformation and the typical farmhouses.
Stop for a photo opportunity along the way and take a stroll in the hamlet of Serralunga d'Alba dominated by the majestic Medieval fortress (entrance not included). The guide will take you then to visit a small family-run winery producing Barolo, where a tasting of at least three different wines will let you appreciate the difference between Nebbiolo and Barolo. Finally get to the town of Barolo where the wine was firstly aged by the French Marquise Juliette Colbert and enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping and views over the castle.
