This food and wine experience showcases the boutique and the more well know wineries and gourmet culinary delights of South Australia's famous wine region - The Barossa Valley.Today you are in for a treat; a full day trip with expert commentary included by your driver/guide for the day. Be collected from your Adelaide or Glenelg based accommodation and set off for a day of exploring the food and wine that make the Barossa famous.
Depending on the conditions of the day, you will travel via the Adelaide Hills or main road straight to the Barossa. Whilst en route, your driver guide will discuss with the group which wineries they would like to visit on the day, or what wines are of interest to the group. From there, the day is tailored to ensure that all passengers are catered for.
Lunch is included today, so please ensure you advise your driver guide of any dietary requirements.
There will be the opportunity to visit different villages throughout the Barossa including; Lyndoch, Tanunda, Nuriootpa & Angaston, with time to visit approximately 4-5 wineries in total throughout the day.
A stop is included at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop in Nuriootpa, to give you the chance to eat, taste and learn about the produce of the area (any purchases here are own expense).
Take in the amazing view of the valley from Mengler Hill before the day is through.
