Bomba Beach day tour takes place only 10 minutes away by boat from Cartagena. It's a beach full of color, turquoise water accompanied by a great view. With a flexible schedule from 8am to 5pm, you can enjoy yourself with typical bites before lunch, all kinds of natural juices, margaritas (the best in the world), cocolocos, caipirinha, mojitos, beers, our crazy Bomba cocktail or many more.To start the journey you need to reach Castillo Grande beach, located at Castillo Grande neighborhood in the modern part of the city at the back of Bocagrande Hospital. Once there you´ll see a lot of small boats, look for a white boat with a red tent with the Beach Bostel logo on the side. Here you will find Gustavo who'll be waiting for you!
Ttake the boat and after a 10 minutes ride, you´ll reach the Bomba Beach. Your guide will welcome you and guide you to your gazebo, a relaxing beach front spot where you can enjoy the turquoise water and the city view. There you can choose between a hanging bed, tanning chairs or hammocks. Hard decision!
Our kitchen and bar are open from 8am until 5pm so you can enjoy yourself with typical bites before lunch; "arepa de huevo" fried plantains with cheese and hogao (smash tomato with onion and garlic), a ceviche or a delicious shrimp or fish cocktail are our suggestions.
At the bar we offer all kinds of natural juices, margaritas (the best in the world), cocoloco, caipirinha, mojitos, beers, our crazy Bomba cocktail or many more.
For lunch, the day trip include a typical fish dish but you can choose what ever you want for the menu and just pay the difference of value if it´s the case. The ocean area is protected from boats and imprudent jet sky with buoys so you can enjoy the sea in peace. If you what some adventure for 20 more, one of our guides will take you in a motor bike across the island to visit Bocachica forts and castle. That will take from 1 to 3 hours depending on how long you what to stay in the other side of the island.
