During this honey wine evening you will visit a small village called Smolenice. Under Smolenice castle you can find a lovely house similar to a hive. This special hive is a honey wine factory with the show room and beautiful nature. Here you will learn something about the process of making the honey wine and afterwards you will do some tasting. The wine is not only healthy but really tasty. The honey wine tastes like ginger bread or like whiskey, cognac or is fresh like currants. It is true that honey wine does not always taste like honey.

In Slovakia, honey wine is usually associated with a winter and the Christmas market, where you can buy hot honey wine. However, you can drink it anytime and not just hot, because there are so many versions of honey wine, some of them taste like whiskey. You are invited to this honey wine tasting with a visit to the factory, where you will learn about the process of making it.
