Enjoy the Cacahuamilpa Caves National Park, with its wonderful formations; and the colonial silver mining city of Taxco. You will visit Santa Prisca Cathedral in the historic downtown and find silver jewelries. Finally, visit the most beautiful Blue Water Holes, where you can to swim or just relax.You will leave from Ixtapan de la Sal at 9am and arrive at The Cacahuamilpa Caves National Park at 10:30am. Here, you will enjoy a tour inside of the caves and see the most beautiful stone formations as you walk through an illuminated way. The tour takes two hours inside the cave and you will have a wonderful experience.
Once you head outside, you can take a cool drink and rest before the next stop. You can also buy a souvenir or a typical handcraft of the region. At 12:45pm, you will take the road again driving to Taxco. You'll arrive in Taxco at 1:45pm and start touring the historic downtown of this colonial and silver mining town. You will take a tour inside of the Santa Prisca Cathedral and visit the most important silver jewelries of the city.
At 2:30pm, you will enjoy of a buffet meal included in the tour, or you can choose another restaurant to visit in the city. At 3:30pm, you will head to the most beautiful Blue Water Holes, where you can to swim or just enjoy the place and relax.
Around 6pm, you'll head back to Ixtapan de la Sal arriving around 7pm.
