Explore parts of the city that others can’t reach and see views that others won’t experience! This wonderful combination tour offers you the best views and photo opportunities in Cadiz... This small group tour includes added extras such as free Wi-Fi, all entrance fees and complimentary refreshments.Embark on a scenic drive to Cadiz’s city centre and let your guide bring this important Spanish city to life.

Take to the streets on foot and learn all about the historical significance of the city, seeing parts of Cadiz that can’t be reached by bus. Walk through the Plaza de España which is dominated by a sparkling white monument, built to celebrate the centenary of the 1812 Constitution. See theTown Hall and the famous Baroque Cathedral with its yellow dome; designed to make the city look rich and powerful to passing ships at sea.

Pass the house of the famous composer: Manuel de Falla and wind through the cobbled streets and picturesque alleyways of the Old Quarter towards the Tavira Tower.

The city of Cádiz has been known for centuries as both a gateway to the New World and a bridge between Europe and Africa. In the 18th century, Cádiz was an important European trading centre and it quickly became a target for pirates who repeatedly raided and ransacked the port. More than 160 towers were built around the city to protect the harbour from invasions and the Tavira Watchtower has been observing ships and the coastline ever since.

Climb to the top of the tower and visit the Camara Oscura; a simple optical device invented by Leonardo da Vinci, which uses the principles of a pinhole camera to provide panoramic views of the city.

Enjoy some free time at the Plaza Flores to explore independently.
