This small-group tour is limited to six people.With your digital camera in hand (DSLRs are recommended), meet your photographer-guide in the morning at Canada Place, a visitor center overlooking Burrard Inlet. Your easygoing 2-hour walking tour, open to all levels, covers about a mile of walking on a stroller-friendly route, so feel free to bring the kids.
Before you get started, your guide will discuss your camera with you, and demonstrate the best way to use the different settings. Learn about ISO sensitivity, aperture and shutter speed, motion photography, depth of field and composition elements.
Snap eye-catching views of the flared white sails of Canada Place, built for the Expo ’86, and wide angles of the sleek and modern Convention Centre.
Click away at downtown cityscapes and work your way through part of the Seawall, a scenic 14-mile (22-km) path that hugs the Vancouver waterfront. Line up photos of a marina and landing floatplanes, and see if you can capture the drama of the snow-drizzled North Shore mountains that form the backdrop of the city.
Your tour concludes back at Canada Place, with a new set of spectacular photos of cityscapes, water, and mountains to show off to friends and family.
