This full-day trip includes rapids such as Texas Creek, Maytag, Lose Your Lunch and Three Rocks, to name just a few. Your trip will begin with an 8:15am check in, departing from Cañon City. Once the group arrives, you will have the option to choose from a selection of wetsuits, river boots and splash jackets included free of charge. Then you will be transported to the put-in location and get situated on the raft. Then onto the river for an adventure of a lifetime!
After 10 miles of excitement and beautiful scenery, the group will eddy out and enjoy a sack lunch, provided with love by the kitchen staff, on the side of the river. After the lunch break, the group will get back out on the river to enjoy the exciting end of the Bighorn Sheep Canyon section of the Arkansas River. This section is Class II to Class III rapids. After the adventure on the river ends, the staff will pick you up at the take out, bring you back to the office where you can shower, change and wind down. The trip will end at 4:30pm. Time may vary due to water levels.
