Canyoning at Saxeten from Interlaken

At only ten minutes away from the base in Interlaken, this beautiful canyon gives a feeling of being back in nature as you travel through the narrow gorges, jumping, sliding and rappelling down rocks and waterfalls into pools of water. This canyon has a lot of action over a short stretch and is a great introduction to canyoning so it is a good option for those who are short on time. You will be picked up from your hotel or train station in Interlaken and brought to the base where you'll be given a warm welcome and all the necessary equipment like wet suits, neoprene booties, life jackets and helmets. You can change in the changing rooms and leave your belongings in the free lockers. Then it's a short drive to the canyon, where you receive instructions from your guides before you make your way through the narrow gorges, jump into rock pools, slide down natural rock slides and rappel over waterfalls. After a short transfer back to the base, you can change into your dry clothes and enjoy a snack of fresh bread, Swiss alpine cheese and beer or soft drink before you are taken back to your hotel or the train station.
