Lunch, drinks, snacks and snorkeling equipment are included. After hotel pickup by coach, set off on the drive to Punta Rucia, three hours north of Santo Domingo on the Dominican Republic’s north coast. A light breakfast, snacks and an open bar are provided on the bus ride.

When you reach Punta Rucia, board a boat from the beach, Playa Ensenada, for the ride across the sea to Cayo Arena, a tiny sandy island surrounded by crystalline Caribbean waters. On the way, stop at a lagoon that forms a natural swimming pool where you can hop off the boat to swim in the shallow water.

On Cayo Arena, you have four hours of free time to swim and snorkel with the abundant tropical fish and relax on the white sand. Enjoy the secluded setting and wide ocean views while you snack on fruit and sip provided rum and beer. After leaving the tranquil island, continue your day trip with a boat ride through the mangroves of nearby Monte Cristi National Park.

A buffet lunch is included at a restaurant. Your day trip then ends with the return drive to Santo Domingo; enjoy more snacks and drinks on the bus ride.
