Visit in one of the most prestigious Champagne houses (tasting fees are not included) such as: Veuve Clicquot, Moet & Chandon (a private Dom Perignon tour can be arranged on request), Ruinart, Taittinger, Pommery, Mumm, etc. (depending on their availabilities). Please note that the tasting fees not included in your tour. On request, we can also organize for you the visit/tastings at a smaller house of Champagne during the day (highly recommended).

For lunch (not included in the rate), experience a typical bistro-type restaurant or one of the finest restaurants in the region.

If time permits, drive through the colorful vineyards of the most noble of wines and its typical villages, among them Hautvillers, the village where Dom Perignon used to live and where his tomb is. On option, a stop can be made to visit the cathedral of Reims, the city of coronations, where Clovis was baptized by Saint Remi in AD 496. You will first visit the Rheims gothic cathedral (XIIIth century) where most of the Kings of France were crowned (the Basilique Saint Rémi is also worth the visit).

Please note that the wine cellars can be quite damp & cold (50°F/10°C): prepare warm clothes for the visit ! This tour is not recommended for anyone who is disabled or has trouble with lots of stairs (or for small children)
