Fish along the spring-fed Chena River on this four-hour guided trip from Fairbanks.  Experience the interior of Alaska like never before as you look for Arctic Grayling, Whitefish, and Alaskan Salmon.  Enjoy the beautiful outdoors on a small group tour that includes complimentary pick-up and drop-off from Fairbanks area hotels.Alaska is not only the largest state in the US, it's also one of the least populated.  As a result, it is full of wide-open spaces perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the great outdoors.  Granite mountaintops, imposing old-growth forest and slow moving glaciers populate a seemingly endless landscape full of lakes, streams, and rivers teeming with wild-life.

Your small group fishing tour starts with a prompt pick-up from your Fairbanks hotel where you will meet your local driver and guide.  The van holds no more than nine passengers (excluding the driver), guaranteeing a small group with personalized service.  As you head out, your friendly driver will fill you on the local history and important geography around Fairbanks to help you better familiarize yourself with the area.  After a short 45-minute drive, you will arrive at the Chena River where you will begin your fishing tour.

For the next two hours, you will search for an incredible range of native fish such as Arctic Grayling, Burbot, Chum Salmon, Humpback Whitefish, King Salmon, Least Cisco, Longnose Suckers, Northern Pike, Round Whitefish, and Sheefish.  All fishing is catch in release unless you choose to purchase available salmon stamps or a $20 fishing license.  The area is also home to moose, coyote, bear, deer, eagles, egrets, and numerous other species that call this part of Alaska home.  After learning a few new tricks from your guide and taking the time to appreciate the beautiful natural setting, you will load back into the van to be dropped off back at your hotel or at a central Fairbanks location.
