Book this 8-hour classic Dali to visit Xizhou and Shuanglang Village, strolling along serene Erhai Lake, tour at a local Indigo Workshop, and explore Three Pagodas all in one day!At 8:30am, your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your Dali hotel to start the day. First, you will visit Xizhou Village, located approximately 12 miles (18 kilometers) north of Dali and one of the Bai ethnic minority group villages surrounding Erhai Lake with historic prominence of a cluster of over 100 protected structures. You will be escorted while visiting homes of local peasants that are characterized by traditional Chinese rectangular courtyard with a screen wall facing the gate. Expect to be treated with genuine tea ceremony of local Bai ethnic minority along with a song and dance performance.
Next, enjoy authentic local food at Linden Center situated in as expansive and luxurious mansion with courtyard in Xizhou village. After lunch, you will drop in on local farmer families and be guided to see genuine lifestyle of local Bai ethnic people in beautiful fishing village of Shuanglang. You can also stroll along Erhai Lake briefly. Later, visit a local Indigo Workshop where you can appreciate traditional way of indigo dying. In the afternoon, continue sightseeing at Three Pagodas. Originally built over one thousand years ago, it is still intact and standing. After Three Pagodas, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Dali hotel where this day tour concludes.
