This section of Clear Creek keeps you moving from start to finish with almost no slack water. Floating through the historic mining town of Idaho Springs, you will float past the Argo Gold Mine & Mill as well as the Charlie Taylor waterwheel and often times you can spot Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep roaming the cliff sides. You will arrive at Rocky Mountain Whitewater Rafting at least 15 minutes before your departure time. Prior to arrival, you will receive an email confirmation for your trip that includes a link to our electronic waiver (can be completed using a smart phone, tablet or computer prior to your trip), directions to the outpost and parking, as well as any recommended items to bring. With your online waiver complete, the check-in process is very fast and we start getting your gear needed and detailed instructions and safety information for your trip at your designated trip time. Once you have your gear, you head to the put-in location. You will raft for approximately 1.25 - 1.75 hrs (depending on river flow). After the rafting trip we will load the trip and return to the outpost where you will have the opportunity to view the photos of your trip on large screen monitors and have the option to purchase the photos and additional merchandise.
