The Colonial architecture experience takes place in Old City and El Cabrero neighborhood, where la Casa Rafael Nuñez is located.
You will be picked up at your property or hotel by car with air conditioning and bottles of water available during the ride. The first stop will be La Casa de Rafael Nuñez, a Caribbean country style house converted into a Museum to explore the way Rafael Nuñez´s used to live while he was president of Colombia for four times consecutively and where the lyric of the Colombian Anthem was written and is still preserved in one of the walls of the property. A local and expert in architecture will guide you through this experience with stories and techniques used in regards of art and architecture.
After this introduction, we will drive you to the Old City and get into some private properties where most of them are rented per days to weekends visitors. Boutique Hotels finely restored are part of this experience as well as the entire walls.
