The chef offers this Creole cooking workshop to achieve a meal that you will enjoy. Then you will be given a rum tasting and tour of the distillery, La Mauny, in the South of Martinique. The 5 hour tour will end with a quick trip to the beach!You will learn how to cook Martinican meals in an equipped outdoor kitchen nestled in the heart of a Creole garden and the historic home of the distillery.
The chef will teach you to cook an entrée, a main course and a dessert with Creole flavors. You will enjoy your achievements under the shade of a Creole cottage. At 2pm you will visit the distillery and taste rums. It is indeed the last still operating distillery in the southern region of the island. Authenticity is the watchword of this place.
Enjoy the sunset over the nearby beach of Anse Figuier! Only 5 kilometers away, the beach awaits you. The warm sand and blue sea is a real postcard. Don't forget your swimsuits; this beach is especially nice for families on weekdays. The tour goes from 10am until 3pm.
