This adventure is made for true nature lovers. The wind will take us through 2 national parks and 1 park of nature in Croatia. You will experience nature at its best. Unbelievable bays, around 100 islands in small area of Kornati archipelago, salty lake, cliffs, waterfalls, amazing views and sunsets over Kornati. Even the most city oriented people can’t resist falling in love with nature here. Did we mention local gastronomy? You will have a chance to meet locals and they will share their everyday with You. In the morning You will see them go fishing and that same catch will be on Your plate for diner later that day in one of the charming “Konoba” (local restaurant). We will start our route by sailing to the North of Dugi otok (island) and drop our anchor in Pantera bay. Pantera is the most beautiful bay in this part of Adriatic and for that reason very popular among sailors.

On a second day, we will set sails towards small town of Sali, a place with a thousand years of old fishing tradition, which was confirmed by written documents from the 10th century and ancient olive groves surrounding the village witness the intensive agricultural activities throughout the centuries. It is hard to say why, but this small town has something that makes it very popular among sailors, so the atmosphere is always great in Sali, especially in one of the sailors’ favorites – caffee Maritimo.
After a morning routine, we will sail south through a small strait, directly to the border of 2 Parks. First we will sail north to NP Telaščica for some swimming in this amazing surroundings. In the afternoon we will sail south to NP Kornati.
After a day in paradise, we will sail to town called Vodice, which is a lively town on the coast, especially popular among young people. Also in Vodice you can find some great restaurants. (Steak house Gušte and Santa Maria, Mexican food with local touch).
Our next destination is National Park Krka and small town Skradin. Skradin is the central point of National Park Krka, being one of the oldest Croatian localities with the city status (2nd century AD). National Park Krka: the empire of Krka River, the magnificent karstic beauty traveling two thirds of its way to the sea through canyons, is a complete opposite of Kornati. On its green path, it has seven falls. National Park Krka is rich in flora and fauna. 222 bird species live there, making it one of the most valuable ornithological areas in Europe.

On Thursday it is time to slowly sail back towards our base. We will sail back through Prokljan strait and than North. We will find shelter for the night in one of the bays of small archipelago just North of Island Murter. Of course, like every day we will practice our sailing skills and find some unique place for swimming and other activities.

Last night we will spend in Zadar. Definitely a must see, beside historic sites, are 2 unique contemporary architecture installation: »Sea Organ« and »Sun Salutation«. First is a system of pipes and whistles integrated in stone stairs descending in to the sea. The effect of sea to the stairs is hypnotic as the pipes exudes wistful sighs when the movement of the sea pushes air through it. And the second which is right next to the Sea Organ and is a complement to the first. It’s a 22m wide circle cut into pavement, filled with 300 multi layered glass plates that collect the sun’s energy during the day and together with the wave energy that makes the Sea Organ’s sound, produce a trippy light show from sunset to sunrise that’s meant to simulate the solar system.
