A culinary day tour of the Galilee is the perfect way to experience the tastes and cultures of the Galilee region in Israel. The tour includes visits to goat's cheese dairies, boutique wineries, coffee roasters, an olive press and a home hospitality lunch in a village in the area. On Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays it is also possible to visit the market. This tour is an opportunity to see a side of Israel that is off the beaten track This private tour consists of a full day tour to the local markets (on select days) alongside experiencing the local cuisine. The tour will start at a pre-arranged meeting point before going to cheese tasting at Ein Camonim Goat's cheese dairy. You will then proceed to Maghar village to visit to a local olive press with tastings and explanations about olive growing and oil production in the Galilee. 

Afterwards you will continue to a traditional coffee roaster for a mid morning coffee of Arab bitter coffee. You will be able to tour the factory and see first hand the roasting of Arab Coffee. Whist still in Maghar village you can visit the Druze sweet shop to taste traditional Druze sweets. You will then be taken to a viewing point to admire the north and west views over Dier Hanna village. This gives you the perspective of the Galilee region and you can also see the oldest olive trees in Israel that are over 3,500 years old.

Lunch will be hospitality in the house of an Israeli Arab, in the village of Arrabeh, or in the home of a Druze host in the village of Maghar. Your host will tell you about the culture, traditions and way of life in a Galilean village.

After an enjoyable lunch visit Lotem Organic winery and enjoy a tour and tastings. Lotem winery is one of only 2 certified organic wineries in Israel. You will learn about the winemakers theories of wine-making and of course, taste a range of his quality wines. At the end of the tour you will be return to pre-arranged drop-off point.
