On this unique tour you will visit the culinary heart of Hanoi. A combined walking tour of a street-food safari and cultural exploration that offers you the best of all tasteful treats one can imagine. Your guide will bring you to try some of the finest Vietnamese delicacies Hanoi style.Your guide and driver will pick you up from your booked hotel and transfer you to the starting point of this delightful journey through the culinary heart of the Vietnamese capital.

The tour begins at Hoan Kiem Lake with a visit to Ngoc Son Temple where you will have the chance to discover the legend of the lake. Also known as Lake of the Restored Sword from the legend that surrounds it, this temple is the only lake-based temple in Hanoi.

Start your street food safari in the Old Quarter. First, you will taste Banh Goi (meat and vermicelli-filled dumplings) at Ly Quoc Su Street, on the way your guide will show you the historical Saint Joseph Church. Then you will continue to try the iconic Ha Noi's delicacy Bun Cha (vermicelli served with aromatic herb and grilled pork, meat ball, dip in fish sauce) in Hang Manh Street.

Continue in the Old Quarter with tasting of Oc Luoc (steamed snails) at Dinh Liet Street. During the course of walking, you may encounter some street vendors selling exotic fruits carried by bamboo basket and balance. The guide will bridge the conversation and help you to choose and taste some of these fruits. Before settling down for “beer time” you will have a cultural surprise at Bach Ma Temple, one of the four most important temples in Hanoi.

End your mixed walking tour around one of the most exciting areas in Hanoi, the intersection between Ta Hien and Luong Ngoc Quyen streets, known as the "international crossroad." This is a place where you can see a lot of locals, tourists and travelers gathering, chatting and having a glass of “Bia hoi” (local beer) with some snacks. It may be a bit noisy, chaotic but also very exciting and fun.

After a great evening out filled with good food, drinks and a local community that has welcomed you and appreciates that you try out these Vietnamese delicacies, you will be transferred back to the hotel in downtown Hanoi.
