Enjoy a 5-day tour of Cusco and Machu Picchu as you explore incredible landmarks and archaeological sites. You will take a city tour od Cusco, known as the gateway to the imperial city of Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, home of attractive colonial towns and isolated weaving villages. Finally, you will explore Machu Picchu and travel back in time to the past and feel the energy of the Incas. Transportation, guide, trains, entrances and breakfasts are all included.  Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and City Tour
Upon arrival into Cusco, you will be met by a  representative at the airport and taken to your hotel in Cusco. You can rest for some time and then enjoy an afternoon city tour of Cusco and its surrounding historical Incas landmarks. You will visit Q’enko, the Cusco Cathedral (Iglesia de Santo Domingo), Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman. You have the evening to spend at your leisure.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Experience (B) (L)
From Cusco, we will depart to Sacred Valley and enjoy a scenic ride through the Andean landscape on the way there. You will first stop at Pisac, a small town rich with Incan architecture and culture. Here, you can see the artisan market and buy great souvenirs. Then, you will visit Ollantaytambo, a town and Incan archaeological site that once was the estate of Emperor Pachacutec. Finally, you will enjoy a tour of Chinchero, an Andean textile village and head back to your hotel later in the day.

Day 3: Machu Picchu (B) (L)
After breakfast and early in the morning, you will be transferred to board a train to Aguas Calientes. Once there, you will take a 25-minute bus ride to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of this famous Inca citadel and admire the wonderful architecture, scenic views and stone structures that defy modern engineering. ;earn from your knowledgeable guide about the history of this place and see the Sun Temple, Sun Stone and Room of the Three Windows. Then, you have free time to enjoy the natural hot springs of Aguas Calientes known for its healing powers. In the afternoon, a train will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 4: Free Day in Cusco (B)
You have this day to spend at your leisure and relax. You can sleep in, go visit some museums or shop at unique stores. You can also take some optional tours such as as horseback riding, hiking, biking, ATV trips, river rafting and more.

Day 5: Departure from Cusco (B)
You will meet a representative at your hotel who will take you to the airport and assist you with your luggage and check-in, ending a wonderful 5-day experience in Peru.
