Day tour to Alexandria from Cairo to visit Kitbay Citadel, Catacombs of Kom al-Shoqafa, Pompei Pillar, Alexandria Library and the Al-Montazah Palace, lunch included.On this tour you will explore Egypt's beautiful second city, Alexandria, the bride of the Mediterranean Sea.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned coach. The journey to and from Alexandria will take approximately 3 hours each way. You will have a guided tour of the city, along with viewing the Kit bay Citadel, Catacombs of Kom al-Shoqafa, Pompei Pillar, Alexandria Library. You will also visit the Al-Montazah Palace in its peaceful garden setting.
Later in the afternoon you will have the chance to stroll around Alexandria before returning to Cairo. The tour includes transportation, lunch, and a local English-speaking Egyptologist.
