Temple of Horus was constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic Period. Proceed with a drive for about 70km further south to visit the double Temple of Kom ombo which has a symmetrical construction; two entrances, two sanctuaries, and a line of symmetry that divides the temple into the domains of Haroeris the falcon and Sobek the crocodile.

Continue to Aswan to visit the unfinished obelisk in Aswan granite quarry. If finished, it would have measured around 42m (approximately 137 feet) and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons.
