Enjoy a full day tour to visit Karnak temple, the largest temple in Egypt, proceed to visit Luxor Museum founded in 1975 and then continue to visit Luxor temple in the city center. Your expert tour guide will pick you up from your Nile Cruise / Hotel in Luxor in a full day tour to visit Karnak temple complex, a vast open-air museum and the second largest ancient religious site in the world, after the Angkor Wat Temple of Cambodia. Karnak temple is the second most visited historical site in Egypt; only the Giza Pyramids. The key difference between Karnak and most of the other temples and sites in Egypt is the length of time over which it was developed and used. Construction of Karnak temples started in the Middle Kingdom (2055 BC – c. 1650 BC) and continued through to Ptolemaic times (332-30 BC).

Proceed to visit Luxor Museum, inaugurated in 1975, most of the artifacts displayed at the Museum were discovered in the area of ancient Thebes. Discover two well preserved royal mummies of pharaohs; Ahmose I and Ramses I, were put on display in the Museum in March 2004. Luxor Museum prides itself on the quality of the pieces, and the uncluttered way in which they are displayed.
