In this day tour to Bahía Bustamante and Estancia El Pedral, you will visit a less crowded Penguin Reserve: Punta Ninfas, its lighthouse and the beautiful estancia to enjoy a wonderful day in a typical Patagonian environment.Starting from the meeting point in Puerto Madryn, you will meet the guide and be transferred to El Pedral, 75km away from Madryn, deep into the Patagonian steppe. Reaching the south part of Golfo Nuevo, we will see the Lighthouse of Punta Ninfas and the colonies of sea wolves and elephants.
We continue our way to the Estancia, ancient ranch turned into museum and hotel, built in the beginning of 20th century. We will learn about the pioneers and the first settlers of the region, as well as, the history of the Estancia´s family.
After the guided tour of the Estancia, we will head to an exclusive colony of Penguins. We will be able to walk through its nests and learn about their behavior.
By midday, we return to the house where you will be served a delicious barbecue (Asado) of Patagonian Lamb, with salads, dessert and coffee/tea. In the rest of the afternoon, guests can make use of the installations of the house (swimming pool, game rooms) or just walk around inside the premises of the property. By 5:00pm, we start the way back to Puerto Madryn.
