This is a one day trip to visit the autumn scenery of the two famous spots in the Shiga prefecture of Japan.

Once you are picked up at your designated meeting point, you will head to Biwako (Lake Biwa) Valley in the Shiga prefecture. The drive will take around 3 hours, and on the way, the coach bus will stop by at a rest stop where you can take your time to go to the restroom.  

After reaching the Biwako Valley, you will stay for about 80-minutes including the time on the ropeway. You will first head to the the Sanroku Station, where a gift shop called Biwako Street is located. Here, you can shop for your souvenirs and experience ride on the fastest ropeway in Japan, the ropeway only takes 4-minutes to reach the Sancho station. Sancho station is located at the highland of the hilltop. There is a cafe, Biwako Terrace, where you can take a break for tea while you enjoy the autumn scenery of Biwako Valley.

Afterwards, your bus will come to take you to the next two famous spots which are the "Metasquoia Namiki" and the "Okubiwako Parkway." Metasquoia Namiki is a road surrounded with 500 Metasquoia trees on which leaves became a beautiful orange-red color for the autumn. Okubiwako Packway is a place that is surrounded by Momiji (Maple leaves) trees. you can enjoy the dynamic autumn view of these two areas through your bus window. 

Last but not least, head to the well-known spot for autumn leaves, Keisoku-ji Temple (formerly the Kyu Hanpuku-ji Temple). You will stay for approximately an hour and a half to take a break and walk around the historical temple to enjoy the surrounding scenery and memorial atmosphere before heading back to Nagoya by coach bus.
