Quiet and underdeveloped, Thirassia is an example of what Santorini used to be before tourism took over. Stroll through the narrow pathways, colorfully painted cave style houses and bell towers. If you are looking for natural beauty, crystal clear waters and sandy beaches, thirassia is your place!
4 hour cruise& walking tour on Thirasia island! We will start from the traditional port of Vlychada and admire the unique landscape of the red and white beach as we head to the fishermen's island of Thirassia. The rib boat will dock on korfos port just before we start climbing over about 180 steps that lead to Manolas village. Next stop, the deserted hidden cave village of Akrilla. Once the biggest settlement of Thirasia island, it is now a deserted village full of cave houses well hidden from view. The Church of the Virgin Mary in Akrilia, however, looks anything but abandoned. The paint is clean and bright.. After visiting Akrilia village a we will head back to the rib boat and return to Vlychada port.
