Enjoy a full day, small group diving experience in the Komodo National Park which is where two oceans meet. This means the marine diversity of both oceans comingle right here! You will dive at some of the best dive sites in the Komodo National Park with no more than 4 guests per guide, assure safe diving and great fun.Visitors from the smallest pygmy seahorses to giant Manta Rays are regularly seen on this day trip. While there can be currents, there is also serene corals, gentle drift dives and other diving options.
The Komodo diving daytrip begins at the dive shop located in the heart of Labuan Bajo easily accessed from all local hotels. You will depart from the dive shop at around 7:30am. The custom built boats will then take you to your dive site in the Komodo National Park in speed and comfort. Most of the best dive sites are about 1 hour away.
Snacks, coffee, tea and water are available on your journey. Each dive site is assessed for safety before you enter and it is essential to understand that you may have to change sites due to strong currents, waves or other factors that increase risk. You will then get your gear set up and jump in for your first dive. Your guide will be there with you the entire time and focused on your needs and safety. The reefs and marine life are plentiful and always awe inspiring. Upon ascent, the dive boat will pick you up and you will head off towards your next destination.
A nutritious, plentiful lunch will be served on the boat during your long surface interval.
Once you have eaten and relaxed, you will prepare for your second dive of the day. You will then take your second dive of the day.
Once back on the boat after the second dive you will relax, trade stories and enjoy the scenery.
When returning to port, there will be a debrief, more snacks and you will be able to talk about your day. You will log your dives back at the dive shop when arrive around 5:00pm.
