Learn to surf on Australia’s longest, safest, beginner wave. The most stunning location you could dream of experiencing a surf lesson. Escape the crowds to Double Island Point only accessible by 4WD vehicles. Dolphins live here too! Australia’s longest and safest beginner surf location with beginners riding waves 100’s of meters long. Double Island Point is home to crystal clear, warm waters and is beginner friendly. Surf in waste deep water with a small group to surf instructor ratio away from the crowds ensuring you experience faster progression in a safe family friendly environment. If you're lucky you may even spot a dolphin.

Smaller surf school groups equal more waves for you and a much better 1 on 1 surf instructor time. 90 percent of clients are first time surfers so don’t worry if you have never learned to surf before, we will get you surfing quickly by teaching you the right surfing techniques safely. We have the latest design of soft boards in a variety of sizes to suit everyone.

Itinerary

• Depart Noosa in specialized 4WD vehicles, travel via Noosa North Shore ferry and onto Teewah Beach.
• Experience the thrill of the Great Beach Drive taking in the stunning views and passing the famous Rainbow Beach colored sand cliffs.
• Arrive at an untouched paradise, Double Island Point.
• Take in the breathtaking remote beaches and an amazing sense of freedom, home to Australia’s longest beginner waves.
• Equipment set up and safety/instruction briefing on the beach
• Fun surf lesson instruction by fully qualified, friendly surf instructors
• Instructor assisted wave positioning and riding in the water
• Individual instruction to suit each participants surfing level.
• Return trip along the Great Beach Drive back to Noosa

Your tour includes a 4WD Great Beach Drive experience, equipment hire (specialized soft-boards, wetshirt/wetsuit), fun surf instruction, National Park entry fees, pictures on request.

Please bring what you would usually bring to the beach e.g: towel, sunscreen, water, camera, change of clothes, snacks. Departure times vary daily as a result of tide times to access Double Island Point along the Great Beach Drive.  Please reconfirm for specific departure times.
