You will also be introduced to your luxury BMW Z4. Instructions on driving and operations for the car is included (30 Min).

The first leg of the tour begins by driving pass the historic homes of Bristol, The Village Green (30 Min). Through your headset, the guide will tell you the history of the dairy industry, facts about the sugaring history, and tidbits on the Vermont's landscape. You will learn about the conflict between the French and the British who warred over this area. Hear about Jacque Cartier and Samuel de Champlain. You will also find out about the culture of the Iroquois and Abnaki Tribes (35 min). Continuing on your drive, you will get a view of Camel’s Hump while you can hear the guide talk about the Long Trail. Moving on to Mt Philo State Park, where you will drive to the top and your sight is treated to aerial view of Champlain Valley and Lake Champlain (30 Min).

The next stop is approximately 5 miles away, the Dankin Farms Store. You will have a little freetime to browse and buy any Vermont products, at your own expense (25 min). Get back in the car and you will be directed to drive past the Rokeby Museum, which houses the best documentation of the Underground Railroad in the Nation (10 Min). Onward to the city of Vergennes, Vermont's first city and calls itself the smallest city in America. You will pass village greens and the monument to Capitan Thomas Macdonough, who built the USS Saratoga (25 min).

Head toward the lake with commentary about the Vermont's sheep industry and the history of the Ethan Allen boys taking over Ft. Ticonderoga. You will also learn about Benedict Arnold's leadership and how Arnold Bay got it's name. (15 Min) You will see the following highlights: an Osprey's nest, Lake Champlain, Lake Champie, Snake Mountain, Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area, Apple Orchard and Morgan Horse Farm (45 minutes). Your guide will tell you about Joseph Battell, who built the Morgan Horse Farm.

Next drive into Middlebury crossing Otter Creek via Pulp Mill Bridge and stop at Marble Works area for a photo of the Middlebury Falls (20 Min). Additional highlights: Downtwon Middlebury, Middlebury College Campus, that has a history dating back to 1800, and Town Hall Theater (15 Min)

Stop for some wine tasting and your picnic lunch (can be combined with the tasting) at Lincoln Peak Winery (45 Min) On the drive back, your guide will have many Stories of the early pioneers and legend of a buried treasure still in the hills (10 Min).
