A short 10 minute trip will have you arrive at the Dunk Island Jetty.
Renowned the world over as a unique tropical rainforest island, Dunk Island offers the day visitor beautiful walking tracks, breathtaking scenery,views and great snorkeling and camping facilities and best of all the all new 'Sunset Bar'! Open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Long Weekends and all School Holidays from 10am onwards, this is a perfect spot to have a bite to eat and a cold drink with the sand between your toes.
Choose from three different walks from a short walk to snorkel at Muggy Muggy Beach, a 2 hour return trip to the top of Mt Kootaloo with remarkable views down to the family group of islands and back to Mission Beach or continue onto the Island Circuit Track approximately 9km taking in the valley of the Palms and stunning Coconut Beach.
End your day with your quick trip back to mainland on board 'Island Spirit' to have the sand hosed off your feet by our friendly crew!
