Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s most popular natural attractions. Climb the naturally formed terraces where cold mountain water cascades 1,000 feet down the waterfall and swim in the natural pools formed by the river. Or just relax on the beach with your family and friends.Your day will start with morning pickup at your hotel in Lucea. During the estimated 2 hour drive up Jamaica's North Coast Highway, take the opportunity to admire the views of rural Jamaica and its historic towns of Montego Bay, Falmouth and Columbus Park.
Once you have arrived at Dunn's River Falls, you will be free to enjoy the falls however you wish. Grab your non-slip water shoes (available to rent) and find a guide who will lead you on a climb up the terraced falls, as you carefully walk up the ‘steps’ formed by the naturally chiseled rocks. If you get tired along the way, feel free to stop and swim in the small lagoons naturally formed on the different levels, and when you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful view.
If you prefer to just relax, you can hang out on the deck to admire the falls, or go swimming in the natural lagoon at the bottom, or even take a long walk on the sand. When your free time comes to an end, the tour will visit a nearby restaurant for a 1 hour lunch break (additional cost).
Your Dunn's River Falls tour will end with the trip back to your hotel where you will be dropped off.
