Leave your Sharm el Sheikh hotel in your air-conditioned minibus with your guide and make the 30-minute journey south to Ras Mohammed National Park, a protected coastal and marine reserve famed for its beaches, coral reefs and undersea life.
Arrive at one of the park’s fabulous beaches and head for a beach hut that will serve as your base for the morning. Enjoy some refreshments as your guide explains the area and what to look for as you snorkel. Then, don one of the supplied face masks and snorkels, or your own snorkel gear, and set off on a guided snorkel session! The protected reserve is home to some 1,000 species of fish, including wrasse, angelfish, butterfly fish, and more, all flitting around fluorescent corals. With your snorkel guide to point out hidden gems, you won’t miss a thing!
Snorkel and take breaks as you wish, and once you’ve worked up an appetite, lunch is served. Head for your beach hut for a freshly prepared meal to give you a boost of energy for the afternoon.
Afterward, return to your minibus and drive to the area of the park filled with mangroves. Admire these untouched, tangled plants and stop at an observation point as your guide explains the fragile ecosystems around you. Spend the rest of the afternoon at an array of other beaches and snorkel sites, giving you maximum opportunity to enjoy different reefs and time to chill out on the sands.
When the time comes, return to Sharm el Sheikh, where your tour ends with a hotel drop-off at around 6pm.
