Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Taormina or nearby and you will then head for Zafferana Etnea, a little town which is important for its honey production. Here you will visit one of the most famous organic farms where you will sample honey, wine, oil and other typical products.
You will then visit a lava cave using helmets and lamps. Before arriving at Rifugio Sapienza (1900 m) you will do some trekking through one of the Nature Paths of 'Parco dell’Etna'. Here you will have the chance to walk around lava flows of the last eruptions and visit the ancient Silvestri craters (1892), and finally enjoy a wonderful breath-taking sunset.
