The cradle of the Renaissance, the white castle of Amboise is reflected in the waters of the Loire, towering over the city. In the history of France, the Amboise was marked by the seal of unprecedented greatness - because philosophers, humanists, sculptors, gardeners and artists from all over the kingdom of France, Flanders and Italy were gathered there. One of the most famous inhabitants of Amboise was Leonardo da Vinci, who came here in 1516 and lived in the castle until his death in 1519. It was here, in the chapel in the castle, where he was buried.

For your special experience in the course of the tour, you can rest in a cave restaurant situated in a unique natural surrounding - a real ancient mountain cave dating back to troglodyte era, which creates a perfect atmosphere for tasting Loire wines and making wonderful memories.

A cave was dug in the chalky valley that had been used for wine maturation process for many decades, into an atypical setting where the genuineness has been preserved. Take an unexpected break tasting homemade food in warm and cozy atmosphere, charming due to the huge fireplace and to the woodwork adorning the room. A menu will be created especially for you with a welcome glass of Montlouis sparkling wine and typical regional dishes of the Loire Valley.

The last stop gives you an opportunity to discover an emblematic French wine.

French wine is known all over the world, and especially the wine of the Loire Valley because of its unique taste. After lunch you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the production process of wine at the winery. Your will be provided with a tour accompanied by a professional guide and of course tasting of 6 wines - 1 rose, 1 white wine and 4 red AOC Chinon accompanied by local products.
