A guide will demonstrate how to operate a Segway and give safety tips to all riders before having each riders practice individually.

Once all riders all ready to go the tour embarks by riding over to Travis Park for some play time in open areas. Following free ride the route continues along historic Houston Street. Here you can observe various historic buildings once part of the historic theater district including the Majestic theater and have the opportunity to overlook the San Antonio riverwalk. Next the tour continues to Main Plaza, home to the San Fernando Cathedral and the Bexar county court house, among other municipal buildings.

From here the route goes into La Villita, a historic arts village. La Villita is home to a unique outdoor theater, the Arneson, which overlooks the riverwalk. Many unique shops and structures are located in La Villita, which is the site of various festivals throughout the year. Across the street is Hemisfair Park, home to the Tower of the Americas and built for the World's Fair in 1968. The last stop on the tour is the Alamo, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the 5 missions in San Antonio.

Routes and order of stops may be modified at the guides discretion due to construction, festivals, or other unforeseen events in the downtown area. (For example free ride time may be moved to a less busy park later along the route.)  All riders must wear a helmet and sign a liability waiver in order to participate  in the tour.
