Come and experience life on the countryside and have the opportunity to be a farmer for a weekend. Join us in our daily work, meet animals and experience nature in a peaceful and quiet environment. As a farmer for a weekend, you get a glimpse of life on a farm and you will join the daily work with the animals. You can participate as much as you want depending on your ability and willingness. We take care of all the animals together; sheep, cows, horses, hens, cats and dogs, feed them and give them love.

Come and experience life on the countryside and have the opportunity to be a farmer for a weekend. Join us in our daily work, meet animals and experience nature in a peaceful and quiet environment. As a farmer for a weekend, you get a glimpse of life on a farm and you will join the daily work with the animals. You can participate as much as you want depending on your ability and willingness. We take care of all the animals together; sheep, cows, horses, hens, cats and dogs, feed them and give them love.
You are welcome to us on Friday afternoon, and we start directly to acquaint ourselves with the farm and the animals. After that it's time for dinner! If you have selected all-inclusive, you eat all meals (except breakfast) during the weekend with us, or else you cook your dinner at the hostel Mellangården.
After dinner awaits a good night's sleep and you wake up to the peaceful and quietness of the country. After a steady breakfast it is time to greet all the animals a good morning and feed them breakfast. During the winter and spring season the animals lives in the stables or loose housing. Then we give them new straw to lie in and free access to food. In summer and autumn the animals are out on the fields. Daily maintenance is done through the tour by tractor- pulled carriage, we greet the animals in their pastures and if necessary changing pastures and give them fresh water. During your stay with us you will join us on a study visit to one of our colleagues, eg, a dairy farm or dairy.
