Meet your tour leader in central Florence and start your tour on board of a comfortable mini-van. You will first visit Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can see the most amazing view over the whole city. Take plenty of pictures before continuing on to Fiesole.
On the way to Fiesole you will have the chance to see suburban areas, hard to reach on foot, but still historically and artistically relevant. You will see the exterior of many different places such as Fortezza da Basso, Piazza della Libertà , San Domenico Church, Fiesole, Piazzale Donatello, Piazza Cesare Beccaria, Santa Croce Church, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Piazza San Marco and more.
Once in Fiesole, you will learn about this wonderful hill town of Etruscan and Roman roots. You can enjoy an incredible view from this hilltop town overlooking Florence, together with the surrounding Florentine hills. After your visit to Fiesole, you will head back to central Florence and end the tour in Santa Maria Novella train station.
You may also choose to end the tour with a guided visit to the Accademia Gallery Museum, and see the world-famous masterpieces by Michelangelo, Bronzino, Andrea del Sarto etc. The visit to the Accademia is optional and available at an extra cost.
