This tour combines exploring the unspoiled nature of Ljubljana's hinterland and an authentic experience of culinary delights prepared using locally produced organic ingredients.Pick up is in front of your hotel at either around 8.30 or 2pm, followed by an approx. 45 minutes drive to the village Volavlje where you will have breakfast at the Travnar farm. Breakfast consist of tea, coffee, homemade sausages and bread, some cheese.
Then continue where the Vozelj's family runs a beekeeping business. Honey harvest tour is included along with the tasting of honey–based delicacies such as chestnut honey, royal jelly and propolis.A brief stop at the eco–farm where you will try home-made apple juice. A mini picnic in the Jablaniška dolina Valley tasting and learning various herbs. Cheese and dairy product tasting.
Your last stop is in the village of Dolsko, where excellent roasted meat and home-made pork sausages are available in the season.
