Discover the north of the island with a jeep safari and riding camels!This excursion starts at Corralejo in soft-top Land Rover Defender jeeps for up to 7 passengers (including the driver) and it takes you first to Villaverde. On your way you will see the agave plantations cover the horizon. These plants were used for ropes or espadrilles.
In Villaverde you will visit a cheese-factory, where you can enjoy a tasting of this specialty of the island: the majorero cheese. And you will also visit an Aloe Vera shop and you will learn a lot about the plant’s properties. Then the route takes us to Lajares, a small village where you will make a short pause and you can go shopping at the local shops.
Now you drive the Route of the Volcanos until reaching the Bayuvo volcano. You climb to the top of the crater to have a look at the dunes of Corralejo, where you can enjoy a camel ride. Then you can go to the beach and take a bath in the crystal-clear waters.
