With this adventure combo, you will have an unforgettable experience as you cross a river on the back of an elephant and then it’s the thrill of class 3 drop as you tackle water rafting. With hotel transfers included, and only 45 minutes from Chiang Mai, this is a day out you will talk about forever. An adventure excursion of Mae Taman Valley in the north of Thailand. Home to the Elephant Training Camp at Mae Taman Valley & the River Camp of Mae Taeng.

Itinerary:
8.30am: Your day begins with your hotel transfer to the Elephant Training Camp at Mae Taman Valley.
Watch as the elephants enjoy a playful bath and then be impressed with the training show. Witness an incredible work of art come to life with “Elephant the Painter” before it’s time to meet these majestic animals.
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable ride with a spectacular view as you will be on elephant back for around an hour as you meander through the forest and taken across the river.
After you bid farewell to your new friend its time to head ‘off-road’ to Mae Tang River Camp and prepare for the River Rafting with your safety training. The rafts are a self-bailing inflatable or a dinghy which carry up to 6 rafters including your captain.
You will first set off in the direction of a more calm and scenic route for about 35 minutes before a short land transfer to the more rapid waters. At this point, it’s time to get serious as your class 3 rapids, aptly named ‘pinball’, is right ahead of you.
5pm: Having made it through your rafting journey you have found yourself at the river camp where you can take a break and a shower before heading back to the comfort of your hotel.
Note: You must wear the life jacket and helmet at all times. Swimming experience is required.
