Explore the farms and rice paddies of the countryside outside Nha Trang on this 8-hours sightseeing tour. We will pick you up from your hotel in Nha Trang at around 08:30 hrs and head out to our first stop for the day.
We pay homage at the Po Nagar Cham Towers, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 2nd century AD. The towers were built between the 7th and 12th centuries and today, it is still a place of pilgrimage for Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists. The towers are named in honor of the former Cham Princess who introduced her people to profitable weaving and wet rice cultivation techniques.
From there, it is a short ride to the local boat pier for a scenic sailing trip over the Cai River. See the very old and ancient houses more than 200 years old & try different kind of tropical fruit as you gently float before reaching the end point of this relaxing river cruise on board your small, private boat. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant along the river banks.
After lunch, a local handicraft work shop shows you authentic means on how the local residents make their living. The nearby market offers plenty of ‘browsing’ time through its fruit, vegetable and other daily needs. All this lifts the veil on how the local community fills their day to make a living and their daily routines.
We return back to your Nha Trang Hotel at the end of the afternoon.
