Visit the fascinating Elephant Training Camp, in the jungle of the Mae Rim District, just an hour from Chiang Mai. With hotel transfers included, this full day excursion will have you up close and personal with these majestic gentle animals.
Suggested Itinerary:
8.30am: With an early morning pick up from your Chiang Mai hotel, you will be at the Elephant Training Camp, Mae Rim, in time to watch the elephants start their day with the bathing show. Enjoy the impressive elephant training show and then witness the creation of an incredible work of art by “Elephant the Painter”.
Later in the afternoon you will take an unforgettable ride on elephant back for an hour. Your elephant will join others and meaner along the main attraction walkway, across the flowing river and through the beautiful Mae Rim District countryside.
Then it’s on to visit the Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens. Famous for its botanical research, it was first international standard botanical garden established in Thailand. Then, and only if time permits, you may have the chance to visit Tiger Kingdom and the butterfly farm (entrance fees are not included in your Elephant Day Safari).
5pm: Your Elephant Day Safari comes to an end and you will meet your transfer back to your hotel.
