Explore the ancient temples and structures of Vietnam’s former imperial capital - Hoa Lu, then take a scenic boat trip to Thung Nang and see the unspoiled beauty of Thung Nang’s tranquil valleys, vast sparkling waterways, towering forested mountains and captivating caves give the effect of an art masterpiece! Conclude your trip with a visit to Bich Dong Temple before heading back to Hanoi.We will pick you up at your hotel and drive two hours to the Ninh Binh Province. There, we will stop to visit Hoa Lu, the Ancient Capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. The city stood as the capital for 41 years (968 - 1009), the first 12 years of which were under the Dinh Dynasty of King Dinh Tien Hoang. Later the Le Dynasty under King Le Dai Hanh ruled for 29 years. Both King Dinh and King Le have temples dedicated to them here.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will take an amazing 3km boat trip to Thung Nang. Known for its beautiful scenery and fresh air, Thung Nang is a wonder to behold. It’s small villages are nestled peacefully along the Red River and its iconic rice fields will give you the feeling that you are looking at an art masterpiece. The water here is clear and teeming with plant and animal life and visitors can marvel at the pristine landscape. We will also visit Bich Dong Temple before heading back to Ha Noi.
