You don’t truly experience the place until you have experience the local cuisines, local festivals and local way of living. Koh Samui is still very much a mystery and lot is yet to be explored by visitors. This tour has combined a few cultural elements of Samui Island into one tour so you can experience the best of Samui!Your day will begin with a pickup from your hotel in Samui. From here, you will be taken to the Agro-Tourism Village where you will meet with local people. The local villagers have unity and awareness in protecting and conserving their forests and environment. You will have a chance to learn about the ecological systems in their village.
You will learn about the plants and fruits of the area including coconut, langsat, rambutan, mangosteen, durian, jackfruit and more. You will also get to witness a demonstration of coconut picking by monkeys.
After spending time with the locals, gaining an understanding of their culture, environment and way of life, you will move on to try some local cuisine!
After Lunch we take you to the Samui Cultural Center, Dusit Dhewa. Dusit Dhewa is a place where many cultures mix together. The architecture is the fusion of Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. There are plenty of things to experience here such as Fine Arts Exhibition Room, Life Style folk of Samui, Production of Aroma Candle, Orchid garden and Hatchery Peacock dancing. You will also get the chance to wear the traditional Thai attire.
