The Perfume Pagoda (Chùa Hương) is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. The Perfume Pagoda is one of the most important religious sites for Buddhism in Vietnam. Every spring, after the Lunar New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for all the health and prosperity they need to get them through the year. You will glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were built in this area over the last centuries.

Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00am to 8:30am. After you will take a 2 hour road trip to a row boat trip to go visit the land on the Yen stream about 1 hour from Thien Tru harbor. Then you will go trekking up and down to visit the main cave. Arriving at the Huong Tich cave on the top of the mountain. After a trek down there will be lunch at a local restaurant at the bottom of the mountain.
After lunch, you will see the Heaven Kitchen pagoda to learn about the ancient Le Dynasty and Buddhism. Then you will come back by a row boat and transfer back to Hanoi for arrival around 6:00pm.
