Full-Day Red River Handicrafts Bike Tour from Hanoi

A full-day cycling to handicraft villages and temple to see the real life experience of Red River Delta including handicraft activities and visits to temples and lacquerware villages. We leave Hanoi at 7am and ride to the guava gardens, fruit garden on the Northern bank of Red River toward Bat Trang ceramic village where we can see firsthand the ancient art of ceramic making at a workshop and numerous homemade. We will learn how to make a clay product in one of many of the families producing these fine works of art which have been doing so for at least 400 years.

From Bat Trang we continue along the dyke then crossing Red river by a little ferry to Van Phuc dock in the south river bank to visit Lo temple which dedicated to Sea Goddess and Mothers Goddess. We then go in to an art tea shop where maintain hundred ancient products to enjoy our picnic lunch. Afterward we cycle to Duyen Thai village which specializes in making lacquered bamboo products. Visit this village and learn how to make such kind of lacquer arts. Return to Hanoi City on bike.
